Hospital Interior Design Needing Our Next Level Construction Skills

The patient experience begins as soon as he/ she steps foot in the hospital lobby.

It is for this reason that lobby designs are crucial. Not only can they help provide a positive first impression and set expectations; by giving clear cues and information to traverse the facility, the totality of a well-designed interior design can help to reduce patient anxiety. Design and Build Construction Companies are improving hospital construction with the future of mental healthcare in mind. This mindset constitutes an impact on hospital lobby design as well as other sections of the facility. This is exactly the same mentality we had when we were granted the contract for Lanang Premier Doctors Hospital Inc.

The primary objective is to make the hospital a hotel.

To meet the requirement, we focused on the hospital lobby design – using only premium materials on attractive finishes, comfortable and functional furnishings, and even wayfinding systems that are straightforward, modern and equally useful.

High-Grade Material Installation

To incorporate our specialty, we implemented a strict adherence to the principles of hospitality establishment design where lobbies are equally spacious and aesthetic, through lights and trendy designs. The flooring is made of shiny nonslip marble tiles carved to a specific shape of its placement to archive a set of patterns the designers want to be emphasized.

Aside from this, the walls are curved travertine to follow a given radius, achieving a specific curvature that coincides with the floor pattern. We added up wood veneers to totally lessen the industrial feel that one would usually feel coming off from a conventional hospital building. Just like what we in Argus Builders did, Contractors in Davao city should not miss the lobby space’s potential to offer a variety of different positive impressions to patients.

In other areas, we painstakingly installed different accent wall designs. This allows the room to be appreciated from different angles and avoid being seen as a monotonous, white space like traditional hospitals.

Lastly, the overall interior design of dividing spaces principally contributed to giving the hospital a different look for patients, clients, and employees. Counters are simple countertops with only 1 or 2 personal columns. This technique creates an illusion for offices to remain invisible to patients’ usual route in the hospital.

WayFinding Custom Signages

Traditional hospitals can be difficult to navigate, and with fewer points of human connection where patients can ask for directions, providing simple, obvious wayfinding solutions is more vital than ever. Design and material solutions, such as color-coordinating pathways or accent lighting, were used for the Lanang Premier Doctors Hospital.

One custom signage that needed our expertise is the hospital directory created with the use of an acrylic bender. The installation was tricky since most of the walls are curved for aesthetic purposes, but of course, we have ways around these scenarios. Our installation strategies take into account signage durability and for the material to serve its primary purpose – mitigate the spread of virus in public spaces.

With us as your Davao Construction Firm, hospitals will demonstrate their concern for patients' time and comfort by using a patient-centered approach to lobby design and custom wayfinding signages. Patients will feel calm, cared for, and confident in the quality of their encounter if you have us, the Argus Builders, as your contractors to make your design into reality. Call us now!
